Wilton’s St. Baldrick's event raises $25K

Wilton High School has raised more than $25,000 through this year's St. Baldrick’s event, which took place on Tuesday, March 15.

More than 60 people had their heads shaved in exchange for donations to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which raises awareness and funds to fight childhood cancer.

Six local barbers donated their time to Wilton’s seventh annual St. Baldrick’s fund-raiser — Gaetano Monteleone and Gina Monteleone, of Arena Hairstyling; Agron Komoni and Dawn Pozar, of Agron's Barbershop; and Gerald Ventrella and Sherry Grieco, of  Branchville Hair Design.

Donations are still being accepted and may be made by visiting stbaldricks.org and searching for a specific participant or for Wilton High School.
