Wilton student musicians, from left, Alex Hirsch, Albert Cai, Alissa Chan, Neel Kaushal and Mitchel Bascom will be among the members of the Norwalk Youth Symphony presenting a Winter Concert on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 3, at the Norwalk Concert Hall, 125 East Avenue. Six orchestras will perform: Jr. Strings and Prelude Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestral Winds, Philharmonia String Orchestra, Concert Orchestra, and Principal Orchestra. The repertoire will include Mendelssohn Sinfonia No. 2 in D major; Stravinsky Berceuse and Finale Firebird Suite; Beethoven Egmont Overture; Brahms Symphony No. 1; and Walton Viola Concerto. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students and are available at the door. Potential members and their families, music teachers, and children age 5 and under are admitted free.
