Sports collection
The Wilton High School Boys Soccer Team collected sports gear for Kick for Nick at its bake sale on July 18. Donations will be sent to Camp Lemmonnier in Djibouti, Africa, where the Kick for Nick organization is working with American military and United Nations personnel. The collection is ongoing and organizers would greatly appreciate gently used uniforms, jerseys, shorts, socks, shin guards and cleats for use in soccer, football, or basketball. Donations may be dropped at 35 Signal Hill Road or at the American Legion Post 86 at 112 Old Ridgefield Road, either near the ball net or inside the door during weekday work hours.
