PSAT testing, schedule change on Oct. 14

On Wednesday, Oct. 14, Wilton High School sophomores and juniors will take the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), which means a change of schedule for all students.
While the PSAT is administered to 10th and 11th graders from 8:20 to 11:50, ninth graders will attend activity periods, the locations of which are being emailed to students this week.
Seniors will have a delayed start on Wednesday and will attend a presentation on the senior internship program before taking the Class of 2016 picture at 10:50.
Three 30-minute lunch waves will take place during Period 8, which begins at 11:55 and ends at 1:25.
Period 7 will begin at 1:30, Period 6 at 1:58 and Period 5 at 2:26.

The PSAT gives 10th and 11th graders the chance to practice for the SAT, as it tests the same skills and knowledge, according to the College Board.
