Got a spare tuxedo?

Former Wilton High School music students who participated in band, chorus or orchestra are asked to look in their closets for no-longer needed concert attire with an eye toward donating it.

In the coming weeks, new band members will be seeking concert wear for the first time, and many would appreciate being able to acquire used items.

The Music Boosters Recycled Concert Attire Program accepts donations of clean performance attire throughout the year: girls’ dresses and boys’ tuxedo parts (jackets, pants, shirts, cummerbunds, bow ties, and shoes).

A bin has been set up in the high school lobby near Lost & Found. Items may be dropped off any time the school is open. Donated concert attire will be made available, free of charge, to current band, chorus and orchestra students who are interested.

Almost all donated items find their way into the hands of students who need and welcome them.
