Fowlin returns to guide personal journeys

Last December Dr. Michael Fowlin presented his one-man performance, You Don't Know Me Until You Know Me, to Wilton High School students. By student request, he returned for a parent presentation in May.

The response from parents was so enthusiastic he is returning for a third time to speak to freshmen during the school day and parents from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1, in Middlebrook School Auditorium, 131 School Road.

Fowlin takes the audience on an experiential journey, having his audience reexamine core precepts that are taught from as early as first grade. Using humor, performance art, poetry, storytelling, psychology, theatrical monologues, and his personal journey he works to create an atmosphere of worldwide inclusion, not just tolerance, towards all people. He has worked extensively with all age groups in the United States and in other countries. His work includes peer mediation, diversity training, gender equity workshops, and violence prevention seminars.
