Since Monday, April 20, Miller-Driscoll’s eighth grade green team has been collecting art and music supplies for Arts for Healing in New Canaan.
Arts for Healing is a nonprofit organization that provides music and arts therapy for children with special needs and adults living with communication disorders in Fairfield County and Westchester County.
Green team eighth grader Isabella Segall, whose family has conducted fund-raisers for the organization in the past, proposed Arts for Healing be the focus of this year’s service project, and her peers unanimously agreed.
The students are collecting the supplies at Middlebrook School, 131 School Road, through Friday, May 8. Donation bins are placed throughout the school.
