Class of 2014 set to graduate on June 21

June 21 has officially been set as the day when Wilton High School will receive their diplomas and say good-bye to high school.

The graduation date decision was made on Tuesday, April 1, by Wilton High School Principal Robert O’Donnell.

“The date was chosen because it was the first Saturday after the end of the school year,” explained Mr. O’Donnell.

Mr. O’Donnell said the first graduation meeting took place this week.

“The list of graduation speakers is not at all finalized,” he said.

While the exact number of graduates is undetermined at this time, Mr. O’Donnell said, the class of 2014 is comprised of 288 students.
