Children’s trip to France

Franc-O-Fun French for Children will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a trip to France for children learning French, ages 7 to 14, accompanied by an adult family member. All students currently studying French at Cider Mill and Middlebrook are welcome.

This enriching 10-day adventure will take place during the 2015 spring break and has been tailor-made for young learners of French. It and will include many experiences such as a cooking class in Paris, a bike tour around the Château de Versailles, spending a day with French children in a school, kayaking under the Avignon bridge, riding in horse-drawn carriages along the beach in “la Camargue” and seeing how goat cheese is made on a Provençal farm.

The group will spend three days touring Paris and seven days in Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles, Nice and Monaco. This trip, Franc-O-Fun’s third, will also be sponsored by ACIS (American Council for International Studies), a highly recommended group for children learning languages.

The deadline for registration is Dec. 1. For information, call Kimberly Fox, director of Franc-O-Fun, at 203-762-5645 or visit franc-o-fun.com.
