Update: 5:15 a.m. — Wilton Public Schools are closed today.
Because of the complex forecast, the Wilton school district announced a decision about delayed opening or closing of schools will be made in the morning.
The latest forecast from the National Weather Service is for a wintry mix of snow and freezing rain Sunday night, Feb. 8, with a low around 22 degrees.
Monday will bring snow and a high near 26. The wind chill will be between 10 and 15, due to a northeast wind of 14 mph. New snow accumulation of two to four inches is expected.
An additional one to two inches of snow is expected Monday night with a low of 19.
Tuesday will be cloudy, eventually becoming sunny, with a high near 32.
The Wilton Family Y has not announced any schedule changes. If school is delayed or canceled, the Y will cancel morning program classes.
