Stuck train causes morning delays on Metro-North

Morning commuters were delayed when a Metro-North train became stuck on the Danbury branch line tracks. The Danbury branch is now operating on or close to schedule, Metro-North reports.

The stuck train caused delays, up to an hour in some cases,  as late as 10 a.m.

As of 10, Metro-North spokeswoman Marjorie Anders said the train was no longer causing any problems.

“The train is stuck. The people on it aren’t, and there are no delays in service,” she said.
