Schools will dismiss early, YMCA cancels some programs

Due to the impending storm, Wilton public schools will dismiss early Monday, Jan. 26.

  • Middlebrook/High School 10:30
  • Cider Mill 11:30
  • Miller Driscoll 12:30

Due to the early dismissal, the Wilton Family Y announced Neighborhood Club, Child Watch and Student Union are canceled. Nursery school closes at 11 and extended day/lunch bunch is canceled. A decision on afternoon classes (including Babysitting and classes held at the gymnastics center) will be made by noon Monday.

Metro-North warns travel will be hazardous, especially during the evening rush hour. Bus, commuter-rail, and subway service could be curtailed on a route-by-route basis, depending on conditions and snow-removal operations. Metro-North suggests commuters consider working from home if at all possible. Monitor, Service Status, and local news reports for additional information as the weather system approaches.
