Monday storm: What's open, closed, canceled in Wilton

Here’s a list of events, programs, businesses and organizations that are closing or altering plans Monday, Feb. 9, because of a winter storm. Wilton Public Schools are closed.


Wilton Library is open for normal business until 5 p.m.

Wilton YMCA is open but due to the schools closing all program classes before noon are canceled. Classes held at the gymnastics center, Nursery School, Neighborhood Club, Child Watch and Student Union are also canceled. All group fitness classes before 11 a,m, are canceled. Babysitting will be canceled unless staff can get in. A decision on afternoon classes will be made by noon.

Wilton Historical Society is closed.


Board of Finance/Board of Education budget review has been canceled.

The Planning & Zoning Commission meeting has been canceled.


Norwalk Transit is running a regular schedule.

Metro-North is running a regular schedule.

Wilton police report roads are extremely icy due to freezing rain overnight. Road conditions are not expected to improve as freezing rain turns to snow later today. They advise staying off the roads.


Bankwell in Wilton will delay opening until 10 a.m.

Hello Yoga's morning classes are canceled.


Wilton town offices are open today.

All activities at the Wilton Senior Center are canceled.
