What's open, closed this Christmas?

Christmas Eve is Saturday, Dec. 24, which is not a federal holiday. Christmas Day is Saturday, Dec. 25, which is a federal holiday.

Wilton town offices will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as Monday, Dec. 26.

Wilton Public Schools will have a shortened day Friday, Dec. 23, followed by winter break. Schools will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3.

Wilton Transfer Station will be closed Christmas Eve and Monday, Dec 26.

Wilton Library will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as Monday, Dec. 26.

Wilton Historical Society will be open until 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed Christmas Day.

Wilton Senior Center will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as Monday, Dec. 26.

Post offices will be closed Christmas Day.

Banks will be closed Christmas Day.

Department of Motor Vehicles will be open until 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, and closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Metro-North will have Christmas Getaway Service on Friday, Dec. 23, with extra trains departing Grand Central beginning around 1 p.m. Metro-North will operate regular Saturday and Sunday schedules on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, respectively.

Many stores and services, such as pharmacies, will have limited hours on Christmas Eve, with most closed on Christmas Day.

The Bulletin will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Monday, Dec. 26.
