More than 600 lose power Monday morning

UPDATE: Monday, 2:30 — As of about 2 p.m., all power has been restored to Eversource customers in the area of Pimpewaug Road.
12:30 p.m. — An equipment issue late Monday morning, March 2, left more than 600 customers in the area of Pimpewaug Road without power, a spokesman for Eversource Energy said.
Shortly after the outage, which occurred a little before noon, Eversource was able to restore power to 476 customers.
Crews were on site with more on the way and, just after noon, he estimated the remaining 143 customers would have power within an hour and a half.
The outage was a problem with Eversource equipment and was not related to trees or limbs falling on any lines.
