Kimco, a New York real estate investment trust that owns and operates open air shopping centers, has two properties in Wilton: the Wilton River Park Shopping Center and the Wilton Campus.
“As part of Kimco’s ongoing efforts to ensure that the Wilton River Park Shopping Center and Wilton Campus best serve the needs of the Wilton community,” a Kimco press release said, Michael McAndrews has been hired as the dedicated general manager for the two properties.
“The addition of Mr. McAndrews as the on-site general manager provides our tenants and the community with a dedicated contact and a friendly face at the centers, who is there to address their needs,” said Josh Weinkranz, Kimco’s northeast regional president.
McAndrews’ past experience includes office and retail leasing at the World Trade Center in New York City, as well as several mall and property management positions throughout Connecticut. He previously served as general manager of the Stamford Town Center Mall.
“I look forward to getting to know the community members here in Wilton, and to working together to make the Wilton River Park Shopping Center and Wilton Campus places that the people of Wilton continue to enjoy visiting,” McAndrews said.
The Wilton River Park Shopping Center is at Old Ridgefield Road and Godfrey Place. It is the home of Stop & Shop of Wilton, Ancona’s Wine & Liquors, and Cactus Rose Restaurant & Tequila bar among other retailers and restaurants.
The Wilton Campus is adjacent to the Wilton River Park Shopping Center. Among its tenants are Starbucks of Wilton and Bow Tie Wilton Cinemas.
