Wilton resident Marc Foodman recently joined the Westport office of Ferdinand IP, LLC., a national boutique law firm specializing in intellectual property and licensing, as a partner.
He now heads the firm’s worldwide patent prosecution practice.
Foodman’s corporate positions include general counsel and senior vice president of Walker Digital Management, LLC., vice president, Intellectual Property at Avaya, vice president, Intellectual Property at Sun Microsystems, director, Intellectual Property at International Game Technology and patent counsel at Schlumberger.
According to a press release, Foodman “has extensive experience in a wide range of industries including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, oilfield services, gaming and consumer marketing.
He has been practicing “for more than 25 years,” the release said, both as in-house counsel with corporations and in private practice.
