The 30th Wilton Community Celebration, at which Karen Birck and Bruce Hampson will receive this year’s Distinguished Citizen Awards, will take place on May 22, from 3 to 7, at Millstone Farm.
Guests will enjoy seasonally inspired cocktails, music, and tours of the scenic farm. Dinner prepared by Chef Tim LaBant of The Schoolhouse at Cannondale will be served surrounded by the view of farm fields and rolling hills as guests celebrate the work of the Wilton Family YMCA.

“The Y is, and always will be, dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, adults, families and communities,” said Bob McDowell, CEO of the Riverbrook Regional YMCA. “Every day our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good.”

Proceeds from the dinner directly support the Y’s financial assistance program. Birck and Hampson will be recognized for their volunteer commitment to improving the quality of life in Wilton.

The celebration’s major sponsor is Fairfield County Bank. Other sponsors include Steve and Heather Simmons (with special thanks to Mythic Wines), Gregory & Adams, the Village Market, Ancona’s Wine and Liquors, The Greens at Cannondale, Caraluzzi’s, Good Morning Wilton, Realty Seven and Dr. Michael Crystal.
