Friday: 7:08 a.m. \u2014 Because of blowing snow, it is hard to tell how much has fallen overnight, but some estimates are four to five inches. Danbury Airport reports wind gusts up to 24 mph. Wilton public schools and offices are closed. Wilton town offices will open two hours late this morning. The Wilton Family Y hopes to open by 9 this morning. No power outages reported by CL&P. Deputy Fire Chief Mark Amatrudo reports, \u00a0\u201cThere is not much to report other than the obvious snow, winds and forecasted record low temperatures for the next 48 hours.\u201d The winter storm warning remains in effect through 1 p.m. today. Snow will continue this morning through 10, then is expected to diminish by noon. Today\u2019s high will be near 14 degrees, but the wind chill will be as low as -13. Winds will be blustery with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 30 mph. An additional one to two inches are possible today.
