The origins of the universe, the emergence of life and the rise of humans is the subject of the Emmy award-winning documentary Journey of the Universe, which will be shown Saturday, Oct. 27, at Wilton Congregational Church on Ridgefield Road. This film weaves together modern scientific discoveries with the humanistic traditions of the West, China, India and indigenous people worldwide. A light supper will be served first at 6, and Rev. Frances Sink, minister of the Unitarian Universalist Society in Stamford, will lead a discussion following the film. Dessert will be served at 8. Seating is limited and reservations are required. There is a suggested donation of $7 per person, $15 per family. All are welcome to join in worship and fellowship at the Wilton Congregational Church's Saturday @ 5 service preceding the film.
