Susan and Andy Mais of Wilton were among those who heard celebrated zookeeper Jack Hanna, center, entertain two full audiences at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk on March 14. The director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo brought along a 15-foot python, a rare Siberian lynx, a ring-tailed lemur, a tamandua (or lesser anteater), an echidna, a king vulture and cute young wallabies, fennec foxes and servals. Mr. Hanna’s appearances were part of the aquarium’s Global Insights series, which continues May 20 with a talk by ocean explorer-conservationist Jean-Michel Cousteau. Mr. Mais is a member of the aquarium’s marketing committee.
