Wilton Library received more than 10 entries for its first annual Kids’ Winter Palace Contest, co-sponsored by the Economic Development Commission.
Community members are invited to vote for their favorite winter palace creation in the children’s library through Saturday, Dec. 10. At 4:15 that evening, winners in each of the four grade categories — K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12 — will be announced.
Each first-place winner will receive a $25 gift card to Bowtie Cinema and a $25 gift card to Wilton Pizza.
Two $25 gift cards from Wilton Hardware, a lunch cooler from Open House Gift Shop, a $15 gift card from Painted Cookie and three $5 gift cards from Happy Hands Art and Pottery will also be awarded to contestants.
