Wilton youth race to fight hunger
Members of the Wilton Hunger Awareness Club joined people of all ages and abilities at Norwalk’s Calf Pasture Beach for the Connecticut Food Bank’s first-annual Miles for Meals 5K on Sunday, June 5.
The flat 5K course featured scenic views of Calf Pasture Beach Park and the Norwalk shoreline. The event helped raise money for the Connecticut Food Bank, which provides food to adults and children in the Connecticut counties of Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London and Windham.
