After rain, snow and high winds moved into Connecticut yesterday — just eight days since Hurricane Sandy left the area, Chief Paul Milositz of Wilton Fire Department said all roads are open, although there are some communication wires down.

"All our roads are open and clear," he said. "We are working diligently to get AT&T and similar cables up away."

According to the latest CL&P update, at 11:19 a.m., 12 Wilton households remain without power from Sandy.
