Wilton closings, cancellations, delays and alerts

Update: 1:20 p.m. — Metro-North will begin operating hourly service at 4 p.m.

Update: 12:25 p.m. — Norwalk Transit's 7 Link service is operating on a reduced service frequency.

The Wilton YMCA will remain closed for the rest of the day. Patrons should check tomorrow morning before heading over there. wiltonymca.org.

Update: 11:15 a.m. — Dunkin' Donuts is currently open but may close early.

Starbucks is closing at 2 p.m.

Bright Horizons at Wilton is closing at 2 p.m.

Update: 11 a.m. — Ancona's Wines & Liquors is currently open but may close early.

Wilton Organic Gourmet is closing at 12 p.m.

Bank of America will have a delayed opening.

All Chase Bank locations are closing at 11:30 a.m.

Update: 10:50 a.m. — Wilton Sport and Fitness is closed.

Orem's Diner will close at 3 p.m.

Update: 10:45 a.m. — Outdoor Sports Center is closing at 2 p.m.

Bruce Bennett Nissan is closed.

Wilton Historical Society is closed.

Village Market is open but may close early today.

Bella & Co. in Cannondale is closed.

Super Stop & Shop is open.

Update: 9:30 a.m. — Metro-North reports delays of 30 minutes into and out of Grand Central due to switch and third rail problems south of Harlem-125th Street. This affects New Haven, Harlem and Hudson lines:

Caraluzzi's Georgetown Market is currently open but may close early today.

CVS is currently open but may close early today.

U.S. Post Office will open at 10 a.m. but may close early today.

Update: 8:45 a.m. — Wilton town offices are closed today.

Open House Gift Shop in Wilton Center is closed today.

Gov. Dannel Malloy reports approximately 300 member of the National Guard are on standby around Connecticut:

Update: 8:30 a.m. — Wilton Library is closed today and will reopen at 10 a.m. tomorrow.

Metro-North will operate reduced service. Some local and express trains that serve adjacent stations will be combined and make additional stops.

Gov. Dannel Malloy said all state offices are closed today and all first- and second-shift nonessential state employees should not report to work:

Update: Thursday, 7:56 a.m. — Wilton police report dangerous road conditions in town that are only expected to worsen as today's storm progresses. They advise staying off the roads.

Wednesday, 11:15 p.m. — Due to the impending snow storm, the Wilton Family Y will be closed most of Thursday, and does not anticipate opening any earlier than 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.

This is a tentative schedule and the Y suggests patrons check online at wiltonymca.org before heading over.

Wilton town offices will also have a delayed opening, although no specific time has been announced.
