Wilton Zoning Board of Appeals candidate: Gerald Holdridge
Wilton Zoning Board of Appeals — Alternate
Current job: Retired since 1992 from IBM World Trade.
The most important issue in this election: My six years of experience on the Board of Selectmen and six years of serving on the Board of Assessment Appeals has given me an understanding of how our current zoning affects a diverse population in Wilton where many properties were developed before zoning even existed. The ZBA Commission exists to understand how zoning regulations create a hardship for some properties and make allowances when possible. I would like to continue my position as an Alternate member.
Family: Wife, Barbara; 3 Children (all went to Wilton Schools).
Previous elected offices, community group affiliations: I have served on many other committees in the 54 years my family has lived in Wilton and understand the feelings of people who live here I also was Scoutmaster of Wilton Troop 20 for two years.
