The Wilton Family Y will observe National Food Bank Week through Saturday, Oct. 20, to support the Wilton Interfaith Food Pantry administered by Wilton Social Services.

Collection bins in the Y lobby display a list of the items needed: coffee, tea, condiments, soups, cereal, laundry detergent, paper goods and personal care items. Expired items cannot be accepted. Cash donations are also welcome.

Social Services is also seeking volunteers to make food runs to the Lower Fairfield County Food Bank in Stamford.

Showing their support for the food drive, are, from left, Y Afterschool & Teen Director Laura Koellmer, First Selectman Bill Brennan, and Y Afterschool & Teen Director Geoff Malyszka with Y's Neighborhood Club program participants Mairead Kehoe, Christian Stella, Shawn Heggland, Ben Lin, Kyle Roberts, Emily Wetzel, Sloan Barker, and Danta Stella.
