Wilton Library presents Poetry in Motion (updated)

Breaking the mold

Hannah Bracken, left, an eighth grader, and Julia Siewert, in 11th grade, rehearse for Wilton Library’s 9th annual Poetry in Motion, a two-night event that takes place Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Brubeck Room. This past fall, students in grades 7 through 12 began creating their original poetry using the theme, Breaking the Mold. They spent the winter editing, learning performance tips and rehearsing.
An informal reception follows each performance. Tickets for each night are $5 per person and are on sale at the circulation desk.
