There are many natural products on the market for humans and pets. One of them is CBD-Cannabidiol, a non-psychoactive derivative of cannabis. Wilton Continuing Education will offer a one-session workshop on using CBD on Thursday, Feb. 7, from 10:30 to noon, at Nature’s Temptations, 32 Prospect Street in Ridgefield.
Many who use CBD claim it can relieve pain, anxiety, and sleeplessness. Some are concerned about addiction or psychoactive possibilities since it doesn’t affect everyone similarly.
In this class, instructor Uzma Zakir will discuss the facts about this derivative from Hemp or marijuana. Many questions about CBD will be answered such as: What is CBD? How does it work? Is it legal? What are the side effects? Will it get you high?
The class fee is $20. Information: wiltoncontinuinged.org
