Wilton Amerian Legion Post 86 veterans having open house for 4th of July

New American Legion Post 86 in Wilton officers were recently elected during the Post's regular meeting earlier in June, for the Post's upcoming year, 2021-2022. New Commander Paul Niche, Sr. Vice-Commander Tom Moore, Sgt. at arms Jeff Turner, Chaplain Frank Dunn, Service Officer Bob Mecozzi, and the re election of current Jr. Vice-Commander Alex Ruskewich, Adjutant & Historian Tom Moore, Finance Officer Sean McNeill, and Judge Advocate Don Hazzard are the new slate. The veterans from the Post are having an Open House on Sunday, July 4th, with videos, lectures, along with tours of the Post's archives, and the Post's building, which is located at 112 Old Ridgefield Road in the town.

Veterans from the American Legion Post 86 in Wilton are having an Open House on Sunday, July 4 with videos, lectures, and a tour of the Post’s archive, and headquarters itself.

There will also be free handouts for children who attend the event, which the Legion is having in place of its activities at the town’s fireworks display. The town’s fireworks have been canceled for 2021.

The Post is located at 112 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton.
