With Valentine’s Day coming up next week, it begs the question, what do you love about Wilton?

The town is joining in with Wilton Library to help residents wear their heart on their sleeve, so to speak. Residents of all ages are encouraged to make a valentine heart and hang it on the big red chair in Wilton Center.

Families with young children are invited to stop by the children’s section of the library to decorate pre-laminated valentine hearts. They can then take the short walk down to the chair at the Chess Park/Schenck’s Island to hang their hearts. Valentine hearts will be available at the library until Feb. 14, and children must be accompanied by an adult.  Others may make a heart at home, which can be laminated at the library’s Innovation Station.

“Together we can share our love of all things Wilton,” First Selectwoman Lynne Vanderslice and Library Executive Director Elaine Tai-Lauria said in a press release.
