Weir Farm National Historic Site will discontinue the sale of the senior interagency pass, which is a lifetime pass that provides access to more than 2,000 recreation sites managed by five Federal agencies, with up to 100% of the proceeds being used to improve and enhance visitor recreation services.
The site will continue to issue free Access, Annual Military, and Annual Every Kid in a Park passes.
Senior passes may be purchased by U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are 62 or older online at store.usgs.gov/pass. Passes are also available for purchase at several locations within 60 miles of Weir Farm National Historic Site including:
- Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site in Hyde Park, N.Y.;
- Vanderbilt Mansion National Historic Site in Hyde Park, N.Y.;
- Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site in Hyde Park, N.Y.;
- Hop Brook Lake in Waterbury, Conn.
