Ben Lambert / Hearst ConnecticutWATERBURY — A city man was indicted Tuesday after he was caught with a gun and drugs in October, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for Connecticut.
Raekwon Overstreet, 27, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
He was caught on Oct. 5 with a "loaded Taurus 9 mm handgun and distribution quantities of heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine," the U.S. Attorney's Office said.
Overstreet previously served more than two years in federal prison on a firearm conviction, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. He was also previously convicted on a state charge of conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery.
