Warriors for a Cure, an Alex’s Lemonade Stand fund-raising team comprised of Wilton and Norwalk residents, placed first in this year’s Alex’s Million Mile. The Million Mile is a month-long September event that supports the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and contributes to funding pediatric cancer research. Surpassing its $75,000 fund-raising goal, the Warriors for a Cure team raised $115,922 and will present a check to foundation founder and Wilton resident Jay Scott.
