Sanya Alter Jeffereis, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Yohan and Amy Jeffereis of Wilton, was married to Timothy Patrick Conley, son of Sue and John Conley of Victor, N.Y., formerly of Wilton, on Sept. 3, 2016. Cantor Robin Joseph of Temple Beth Shalom, Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y. officiated the ceremony.

Three days of festivities marked the joyous occasion, starting with a Mehndi (henna decoration) and Sangeet (song and dance) at the Jeffereis residence to celebrate the father of the bride’s Indian heritage. The couple performed a Bollywood dance to the song Jai Ho! by A. R. Rahman. The following day the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner and party at the Brewer Essex Island Marina, Essex, Conn. On the wedding day guests were taken by the Essex Steam Train to The Lace Factory in Deep River, Conn.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a Hayley Paige gown of ivory geometric organza, draped V-neck bodice and Moroccan beaded back. She carried a bouquet attached to a family heirloom bridal prayer book, which had been carried by her great-grandmother, grandmother and mother at their wedding. Bridesmaids were Olivia Schum (WHS ’05) and Mary Tyler McNider of New York City; Tyler Mecozzi (WHS ’05) of Stamford, Conn.; Kristen Papen of New Haven, Conn., and Ellen Iroff of Charleston, S.C. They wore gold sequined gowns and carried white roses.

Groomsmen were Brendan Green of Norwalk, Conn., Tom Thresher of Fairfield, Conn., Graham Walker of Fort Collins, Colo. (all WHS ’05), Dan Cuddy (WHS ’04) of Stratford, Conn., and Brendan Peck of New York City. In honor of the 10th anniversary of the loss of their friend Pfc. Nicholas A. Madaras, the groomsmen wore patriotic socks. Alex Sabato (WHS ’09) performed Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran.

The bride graduated from Wilton High School in 2006 and from the College of Charleston, S.C. in 2010. She is an events manager at Shutterstock in New York City.

The groom graduated from Wilton High School in 2005 and from the University of South Carolina in 2009. He is a client solutions manager at IPONWEB in New York City.

The couple live in Chelsea, New York City, and plan a honeymoon in Vietnam during Thanksgiving 2016.
