Vigil recalls dropping of atomic bomb

Seventy years to the day after the United States dropped atomic bombs on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Wilton Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends/Quakers will hold a vigil at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Avenue.
The group will meet on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 7 a.m. until after the reading of the annual letter from the Mayor of Hiroshima at 7 p.m..
