The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a tree work/removal operation will be performed on Route 15 northbound and southbound in Greenwich and Stamford beginning Monday, March 26. The work is scheduled to occur from Monday, March 26 through Wednesday, April 14.  

The tree removal operation will be performed by Advanced Construction & Tree Removal LLC.

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 northbound and southbound between Exit 31 (North Street #1) and Exit 33 (Den Road #1) in Greenwich and Stamford. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 15 northbound and 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Route 15 southbound (Monday-Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

No work will be performed through the Easter weekend (Thursday, March 29 through Monday, April 2).
