Town of Wilton hosting scarecrow scavenger hunt

The Town of Wilton is hosting a Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt.

The activity began Oct. 15, and runs through Nov. 1, which is All Saints’ Day.

“Can you find all of the items on the scarecrows around Wilton town center?” town officials ask.

People can pull up the Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt webform for the activity on their mobile devices.

People can also take a walk through the center to view the scarecrows made by Wilton residents, businesses, and organizations and search for the designated items on the scarecrows, record findings on the form, and then submit the form to the town.

There is fun for grownups, and children alike. A prize drawing will take place at the Wilton Board of Selectmen meeting, Nov. 1.

Three names will first be drawn, who will also win gift certificates to select restaurants in Wilton.

All winners will be notified by email, or phone.

Participants, and winners do not need to be present at the drawing.
