The latest heart disease advances

A panel of health experts will discuss the newest procedures, medications and research on heart disease Tuesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. at Wilton Library.

“Matters of the Heart” panelists include:

• Dr. Michael Dewar, assistant professor of cardiac surgery, Yale School of Medicine, who will discuss the newest surgical techniques;

• Robert Bepko Jr. director of professional services for Norwalk Hospital, will discuss the newest research and development of cardiac care;

• Nurse Martha Bryce will discuss her own experience from the patient’s point of view.

The forum moderator will be Theresa Santoro, president  and CEO of Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA).

The program is co-sponsored by the library, Wilton Family Y and RVNA.
