Support group for parents

The end of school means a big change in routine for most households. With less structure, children’s behavior may change.

Parents of children with challenging behavior, emotional or mental health issues are invited to a support group offered by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Child and Adolescent Network (CAN).

The group is free, confidential, safe and led by trained and certified volunteer facilitators who themselves have had personal experiences raising children with these concerns. Meetings are on the fourth Monday of every month and the next meeting is June 26 from 10 to 11:30 in the G&B Cultural Center, 49 New Street.
