Summer fun at Ambler Farm

Ambler Farm reports there are still spots available for the Summer Adventures program, where children will have an opportunity to meet new animals including ducklings and turkeys. They join baby chicks, more rabbits and the farm’s resident sheep and goats in the popular, interactive learning program.
The program runs for several weeks from late June through July and each week consists of different activities. Youngsters may join the program for one week or every week.
In addition to interacting with animals, students in grades 1 through 7 will learn woodworking and will cook with food they’ve harvested. The preschool program includes story time, singing, hayrides, harvesting and crafts. This program is sold out for the week of June 22.
The Farm to Kitchen Summer Program, for students entering grades 8 through 11, provides an opportunity to work side by side with farmer Jonathan and master chef Heather Priest.
Links to the registration forms are on the Ambler Farm website, amblerfarm.org.
