Weekend train service will be provided on the New Canaan line, and the Danbury train line on Saturday, Aug. 15, and Sunday, Aug.16, 2020.
Weekend bus service will be provided on the Waterbury train line on the same days.
Riders, customers, and anyone else who is affected by the service changes are asked to “please allow for extra travel time,” if they are taking the train this weekend on any of the lines, or picking someone up along them.
“Customers may use bridge plates to board trains at some stations. Please for your safety, do not stand on bridge plates before the train arrives, and wait for the train to make a complete stop before boarding bridge plates,” the alert says.
