Stay at Home offers ID theft workshop

Stay at Home in Wilton offers two events next week.
An identity theft workshop — How to Protect Your Personal Information When Nothing is Private Anymore — will take place Tuesday, April 28, from 3 to 5, at Wilton Senior Center, 180 School Road.
Ann Mitrione of Bankwell will talk about protecting your money and identity from the latest scams as well as identity theft recovery. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Reservations are recommended; call Janet Johnson, executive coordinator, at 203-762-2600.
A brunch for prospective members will take place Thursday, April 30, from 10 to noon, at WEPCO, 48 New Canaan Road. Board members, volunteers and Stay at Home’s executive coordinator will present the practical and social benefits of belonging to the organization.
