Special library day for children

“Take Your Child to the Library Day” is Saturday, Feb. 7 and Wilton Library will be ready for children with two programs.

From 10:30 to 11:30, kids in grades K and up will be treated to “The Future of the Monarch Butterfly” by the Animal Embassy of Stamford.

The talk explores the incredible life cycle of the monarch butterfly and the children will hear about the challenges and threats facing this beautiful insect. This program is supported by the Amadeo Family Fund.

Then, from 2 to 3:45, children will be able to unleash their inner Elsa, Anna and Olaf in the “Frozen Sing-Along” movie screening. Children are invited to come in costume and while singing away will be able to enjoy blue sno-cones.

The program is geared to children 3 and up. Registration is required. Children under 8 must be accompanied by a caregiver, children under 12 must have a caregiver in the building.
