The outpouring of support for the Wilton Sip N’ Shop, to be held on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., has enabled host Janet Montalbano, of Let’s Make Up, to bring on a co-host this year.

She is thrilled to announce her partnership with Justin Baiad, of Justin Baiad Photography.

“Montalbano’s artistic talents have worked wonders for Fairfield County residents, and others for over 30 years, making them look, and feel better,” said a release.

Over the past decade, she has offered her services pro-bono doing makeovers for women undergoing cancer treatments, battered women and others who are trying to re-establish themselves and re-join the workforce.

Montalbano received Wilton Magazine’s award as one of the 25 most creative, dedicated and influential people in town. Her website is

The Sixth Annual Sip N’Shop will charge an admission fee of $20 per person. Montalbano’s goal is to raise over $25,000 for local nonprofit Circle of Care, with 100 percent of proceeds from the event being donated to support group that aids families who have children with cancer.

Last year’s online event raised approximately $15,000, so she is hopeful that an in-person event will raise “substantially more.”

In addition, this year’s function will be moved to a larger venue, now at the Wilton Episcopal and Presbyterian Church complex, which is located at 48 New Canaan Road in Wilton.

Vendors will pay $200 per booth, as compared to $350 in previous years, since the space can accommodate many more people.

There will be a $100 raffle, wherein the participants will have a chance to win a vacation to Lake Norman in North Carolina. The lake is one of the largest man-made lakes in the state, and was previously donated by a Wilton family. Restrictions apply.

There will also be a 50-50 raffle, where attendees can purchase one ticket for $20 or spend $50 for three.

For the first time, each visitor to Sip N’Shop will receive a complimentary raffle ticket, making them eligible for an assortment of prizes.

The raffles will be held at 7:30 p.m., Nov 18.

Silver sponsors of the event include Wilton Smiles, AJC Contracting, Berkshire Hathaway and Fleurish Florals. Keller Williams Fiona Porter is a gold sponsor, and Mary Aherns - Hair for Good is a platinum sponsor for the event.

Cagi & Syd, popular local band, will perform well-known tunes for the event.

Light snakcs and refreshments will be provided by the Rye Ridge Deli, Uncle Leo’s and Susan Kane Catering.

Additional food vendors are encourages to apply.

The followings vendors are currently committed to the event: “B” Chic, Blue Star Bazaar, Burkewood Road, Emmy Star Designs, Erin Deluca Jewelry, Four Colors USA, Fiona Porter Homes, Bows By Ria, Blue Star Bazaar, Thread & Knot, Four Legged and Friends, Frieda Rothman, Hair For Good, Imaginariums, Nancy’s Color Studio, Nina Kaiola Jewelry, Szetheday, Southern Yankee, Wild Bloom Skin Care, Wilton Smiles, Arbonne, Nayar’s Gifts, Tiffany Catalano Artwork, Your CBD Store and Zero Waste.

“I am confident we will reach our goal this year with so many positive changes, particularly with the addition of my talented co-sponsor, Justin. And I know everyone wants to support our local vendors who support Circle of Care by coming to our event and donating funds for a booth to showcase their wares,” Montalbano said. “There is no better way to shop for holiday gifts.”
