Route 7 is being repaved

Motorists driving along Route 7 in Georgetown will notice the road is being prepared for repaving.
The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced a nighttime milling and resurfacing project on Route 7 in the towns of Wilton, Redding and Ridgefield.
Work, which began Sunday, May 10,  is planned for 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., and is expected to conclude the morning of Wednesday, June 10.
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 7 between Route 57 to just north of Route 35.
