Rotary crafts show marks 25 years

The Rotary theme for May is “celebrate your community,” and the Wilton Rotary Club will do just that when it presents its 25th annual arts and crafts show Saturday, May 23, from 10 to 4 on the Wilton Town Green. The show is a major event for the club, which raises money for local, area and worldwide charities throughout the year.
Show chairman Paul Burnham said the club expects 35 to 40 crafters offering handmade items. Crafters from throughout the Northeast — New York, Connecticut and likely Massachusetts and Rhode Island — will offer all sorts of items, including jewelry, woodcrafts, photography, dog clothes and accessories, and women’s accessories.
In addition to the crafters, there will be a silent auction.
Shoppers are admitted free and may partake of the coffee and donuts offered by Rotary.
“We’re hoping for a big turnout so our crafters come back again next year,” Burnham said. “Most of the crafters come through word of mouth or have been here before.”
The show will take place rain or shine. Information:
