Restocked
The food pantry at Comstock Community Center stood completely empty, due to renovation work, on the morning of Friday June 26, then during the day food began arriving from the Wilton Kiwanis food drive held at the Village Market and Wilton Stop & Shop. The food kept coming through the day Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 28. The pantry is now full, the Kiwanis Club reports, and ready to serve those families in need. ‘The Kiwanis and the food bank wants to thank you wonderful people of Wilton,’ the club said in a press release. ‘It is through your repeated generosity that we have been able to keep the bank open all these years and are able to help the many families in need of our help. It is truly wonderful to live in a community that cares about their fellow citizens.’
