Congressman Jim Himes (D-4th) continues his 17 Towns in 17 Days Tour this week.

As part of his tour, he will visit every town in the 4th District, gathering input from constituents and highlighting the district's residents, businesses, organizations, and natural resources.

Mr. Himes kicked off the tour in Ridgefield on July 27 and visited Wilton on Tuesday, Aug. 7 when he came to Weir Farm.

Friday, Aug. 10

Weston: Mr. Himes and First Selectman Gayle Weinstein will host a brown bag lunch with constituents, at Weston Town Hall, 56 Norfield Road, from noon to 1. Mr. Himes will discuss his work in Congress and answer questions

Redding: Redding Farmers Market, 2 Long Ridge Road; 2:15 to 3 p.m.

Easton: Mr. Himes will visit the Aspetuck Land Trust's 1,009-acre Trout Brook Valley preserve, 714 Black Rock Turnpike; 3:30 to 4:45.

Sunday, Aug. 12

Darien: Mr. Himes will present a certificate of recognition to WWII veterans living in Darien thanking them for their service at the annual Spirit of '45 event, Atria Darien, 50 Ledge Road; 2 to 3:30 p.m.
