Ramsey posts bond and moves to hospital for psychiatric evaluations

Aaron Ramsey, the Wilton man accused of bludgeoning his father to death in May, was taken to Connecticut Valley Hospital in Middletown on Thursday, Sept. 20, after a mental evaluation at Bridgeport Hospital found it neccessary that he be moved with a "physician's emergency certificate," according to his lawyer, Howard Ehring.

Mr. Ramsey was taken to Bridgeport Hospital on Wednesday after his mother posted his $1 million bond.

Mr. Ramsey last appeared at Stamford Superior Courthouse on Aug. 31, and his next court is scheduled for Oct. 26, and is set to be presided over by Judge Gary White.
